Summary and Overview of the Position
As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to work across markets such as US, UK, Singapore, and India and will be responsible for developing and executing plans in line with Gutenberg’s growth trajectory.
The Account Manager would be instrumental in driving the Digital Media clients servicing as well as team engagements, to include owning and managing all tasks related to execution of the client’s Digital plan and ensuring that all client outcomes are delivered in keeping with the company standards of quality, timeliness, and professionalism. If you are a self-starter, proactive, someone who looks to take initiative, and can thrive in a young, entrepreneurial environment, this role will be most suited for you, as you develop and grow your expertise multi geographically
Primary responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following.
- Instrumental in owning Digital Media strategies based on clients’ needs, the digital media industry, competitor’s approach, clients’ target audience and ensuring that all client outcomes are delivered in keeping with the company standards of quality, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Drive client strategy and advise them on how to achieve their business goals in the most effective manner by utilising various marketing channels most efficiently, advising on the interplay and integration between all digital channels and ensuring that advice is delivered with confidence.
- Ensure processes for accounts and team members, approach documents for new clients and campaign creation are adhered to. Responsible for ensuring all processes are adhered to and documentation related to clients’ accounts are up to date and maintained in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring all client servicing resources have the knowledge and information required to service the client and ensure any development/training needs and performance feedback are brought to the attention of their direct managers or planned with Talent teams.
- Explore new measurement tools that are external and make a recommendation to the internal team
- Knowledge resource for clients and client’s competitive landscape, Digital Media strategy used by the competition.
- Propose and implement new digital ideas and product offerings
- Help internal team members on some of the best practices
- Stay current with social media trends and tools
- Drive business growth for the account and ensure client retention and growth.
- Explore Cross selling and up selling opportunities with existing clients.
- Support business growth for assigned accounts and ensure client retention and growth.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality while juggling multiple channels of activity and a demonstrated ability to work independently, managing own time, and prioritizing effectively.
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising.
- 6-8 years of experience working with clients at a digital media agency, marketing firm, media outlet.
- Project management experience in leading client initiatives is preferred.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams, and clients seamlessly.
- Good working knowledge of contemporary digital media and its operations.
- Ability to take initiative, learn and work without constant supervision.
